If you don’t see the answer you’re looking for below, please don’t hesitate to contact our helpful and friendly skip hire Adelaide experts. We’ll be more than happy to assist you!

What skip bin sizes do you have available?

Our skip bins for hire range in sizes from two cubic metres to nine cubic metres. Some also offer drop-down rear doors to assist you in loading waste.

What size skip will I need?

A standard 6’ x 4’ flat bed trailer measures about one cubic metre. If you think you have four trailer loads of rubbish, then a four cubic metre skip is required. For a better idea of what size skip bin you might need, take a look at our skip bin sizes page.

For how long can I hire a skip bin?

Our skip bins Adelaide customers can hire a skip bin for up to five days. Longer hire periods are available, but you will need to notify us before the agreed pick-up date. Depending on the extra hire time required, additional charges may apply.

What are your delivery and collection times?

While our drivers try their best to deliver within the timeframe provided during the booking process, we cannot guarantee delivery and collection times.

Where can I place the skip bin?

Skip bins need to be placed within the boundaries of your property. If you would like the skip bin on your driveway, it must be at least 2.7m wide for our truck to fit. If you want to put the skip bin on public land, the road or a nature strip, a council permit is required. It is your responsibility to obtain the necessary permits from the council before the bin is delivered.

How do I pay for my skip bin hire?

Cash, credit (Visa and MasterCard) and debit cards are accepted methods of payment. Cheque payments may be accepted in certain cases.

How high can I fill the bin?

It is illegal to transport an overflowing skip, so please only fill the skip bin up to the rim to prevent items falling out during transportation. Our drivers face heavy fines and a loss of demerit points if they are caught doing so.

What can I put in the bin?

Green Bins allows general rubbish in our skip bins. This includes furniture, household trash, green waste and garden clean-up, timber, demolition waste, and landscaping and renovation debris. Tiles, roof tiles, bricks, concrete, dirt and sand, CANNOT be mixed with general rubbish.

Do any items placed in the skip bins cost me extra?

Additional charges apply for tyres, TVs and mattresses placed in our skip bins as there is a cost to dispose of these items correctly.

What items are not allowed in the skip bins?

Strictly no asbestos, food, liquids, gas bottles, hazardous chemicals or solvents are to be placed in the bins. If you require asbestos disposal, please call us for asbestos-only bins.
